C's Made it Three in a Row

The Boston Celtics, seems like the championship team in the past, surge ahead of their own series with the Heat with a sounding victory 100-98. A stellar performance by Paul Pierce capped with a buzzer beating winning shot in regulation, lead the C's with 32 points. Ray Allen, who had 25 points in Game 2 had another 25 point-performance once again. Rajon Rondo added 17 points and 8 assists while Kevin Garnett, who was suspended in game 2, finished with 16 points. it was a closed game down the stretch with Paul Pierce hitting the go-ahead 3 pointer to make it a 98-95 ballgame. But Dorell Wright answered with his own 3-pointer that tied the game 98 all. Miami could have lead but a Dwyane Wade missed a 3-pointer with 11 seconds left, setting up for the heroics of Paul Pierce with a jumper at the buzzer. Wade lead the Heat with 34 points, while Michael Beasley had 16 points and Dorell Wright added 1 5 points. Wade suffered cramps late in the game after that 3 point attempt that could have give the Heat for good in the dying seconds.

In other games:

Tim Duncan lead the Spurs with 25 points an Tony Parker made some timely shots down the stretch as the Spurs subdued the 35 points effort by Dirk Nowitzki and the Dallas Mavericks, 94-90 to take a 2-1 lead.

The Utah Jazz behind the 24 points effort and 10 assists by Deron Williams and the 22 point performance by Paul Millsap stopped the Nuggets 105-93 and take on to lead the series, 2-1.
