Celtics Burn The Heat

"No KG, NO problem". That was the theme all not for the Boston Celtics as they hammered the Miami Heat with a sounding 106-77 victory. It was not an easy win for the C's as the teams exchange leads in the first quarter. Trailing four in the second quarter, 25-29, the Celtics used a 21-0 lead to build the lead for good 46-29 and never look back. The Heat has no answer in the third quarter as the C's Ray Allen wax hot making three's all over the place as he poured in a team high of 25 points. The Hero for the Celtics, forward Glen Davis, starting in place of the suspended Kevin Garnett, scored 23 points and grabbed 8 rebounds.

In other Games:

Los Angeles Lakers behind Kobe Bryant's 39 points outlasted the Oklahoma City Thunder, 94-91

Red-Hot Phoenix Suns renewed dominance outpointing the Portland Trail Blazers 119-90 behind Jason Richardson's 29 points, Grant Hill's 20 points on 10 out of 11 shooting and Steve Nash's 16 assists.

The Atlanta Hawks beat the Milwaukee Bucks 96-86 leaning on Joe Johnson's 27 points performance, Josh Smith's 21 points, 14 rebounds and 9 assists effort.
